Corrections

Last updated October 29, 2026

Influence aims to get every fact right the first time. When we get something wrong, we say so plainly and fix it quickly. This page sets out how we handle errors and lists every correction we publish.

Our policy

Updates that add new information, and clarifications that make a fair point clearer without changing a fact, are marked as such on the story. Spelling and style fixes that do not change meaning are made without a note.

How to request a correction

If you believe we got something wrong, email team@1nfluenc3.com with the subject line “Correction”, or use the contact form. Please include:

  1. a link to the story;
  2. the statement you believe is wrong; and
  3. what you believe is correct, with a source we can check.

A person on the desk reviews every request against the original reporting and an independent source. We reply to the email address you give us, whether or not we make a change. Requests are handled under our Privacy Policy.
